Following a stellar year that included winning the coveted EISA Award for Best Smart Amplifier, the NAD M10 has picked up yet another accolade for Hi-Fi Product of the Year from AVForums. Reviewed and selected by AVForums’ revered team of audio experts, the publication says the M10 “feels effortlessly special and it is a delight to use.”
Highlighting the BluOS streaming amplifier for its inclusion of Dirac, build quality and its various connectivity options, AVForums says the all-in-one represents the future of hi-fi.
This is a review and detailed measurements of the NAD M10 streaming amplifier and DAC. It was purchased and drop shipped to me kindly by a member. It costs US $2,749 from NAD dealers. The M10 sports a very large touch screen LCD display that covers the entire front face: Sorry for leaving. Im just wondering if getting the NAD M10 with the full Dirac package is a worthy upgrade to my Yamaha R-N803d considering the cost. Where I live the Yamaha is 850 euros and the Nad is 3000 euros + 100 for the Dirac full version. The NAD M10 changes volume instantly. If you're mid-song and need to change volume, you just pick up the smartphone and hit the volume buttons. For TV volume (via HDMI ARC), my smart TV passes volume +/- commands (from the TV remote) through the HDMI connection, and the NAD changes volume instantly as expected. The small and elegant NAD M10 BluOS Streaming Amplifier is a streamer, dac, and an integrated amp all squeezed into one small and stylish package. The $2,500 M10 features an MQA-capable ESS Sabre DAC and a Hypex nCore amplifier stage delivering 100 real-world watts per channel. I'm quite new to NAD and to BluOS. I had my C388 with BluOS upgrade about 5 weeks ago and all has been fine. My M10 arrived yesterday and I have issues which are most likely my fault. It joined my network from the BluOS app (ios) and ran the update. Then the problems started. Neither the BluOS app nor the NAD remote detect the M10.
